Most of these are out of the price range of most people though... Autometer makes one as well with a big central speedo for about $1400.

Snake oil, though I have seen good things from their fuel additive on some vehicles. If you want a clean engine internally, use a better cleaning oil. Or, you can use a bilstein engine flush machine, but if the engine is that bad you might as well tear it down...

Autos have the same diff. In fact they went to 3.73's on the later models. Turbo car is never going to have the response of an NA, and reving is independant from acceleration. If you want to go faster, you need more power.

Yeah, looked it up, they have like 3 different sport-comp gauges series as well. I know their Elites are pretty awesome but they run like $150 a piece...

IIRC it was their elite and sport comps if you want an analog face. No they're not cheap....

Yep, not covered in the TSRM, but after going through the exact issue myself, I put a very thin coating of grease on the tip. I couldn't get the transmission to seperate from the motor, was hung on the pilot bearing, and it didn't want to reinstall either.

If it's just the sensor and not something else (like a screwed up honeycomb), then you can usually pick up a lexus AFM pretty cheap and swap the electronics. Then you have the lexus housing for future upgrading.

Where do you think the power for the electric fans comes from? One of the tuning magazines tested this myth years ago, forgot the car, but they only saw a couple HP on the dyno (within it's error range mind you) and lower HP when the e-fans turned on. It's a crock.

So you had someone else do the work? That opens a whole list of things it could be... - Throwout bearing wasn't replaced - Throwout bearing assembly wasn't properly assembled (fairly common) - Moving parts weren't lubricated (input shaft, clutch fork, ect)

Stock is stock, stop trying to play the word game. If it didn't come that way off the showroom floor, it's NOT STOCK. Yeah, if it's a Turbo A. No if it's not.

Autometer makes some nice gauges...but they also make a hell of a lot of cheap crappy gauges...

Go to one of the big supra meets and race in their "stock" class with that upgraded turbo and see how fast you're kicked out.

I see no mention of a new or upgraded turbo, so 400hp = OMGLOL

Mangaflows tend to break in, but personally I haven't seen a single muffler exhaust that didn't drone. Resonator makes a lot of difference.
