You need to measure the crank journals and the rod big ends/ block main bearing bores. After you have a measurement for each, you can then use the TSRM to figure out which of the 5 bearings is needed for each journal. Considering that it is knocking, you will probably find that the rod or crank...
Ah so they wont hold a charge long? Probably not worth it then. Would be nice if I could just charge it once and throw it in the back for an emergency. I guess the ol jumper cables will have to do! And yes the engine cranks over with ease now that I have a fresh positive terminal/cable and new...

It's possible (assuming you have an automatic transmission) that it is the neutral safety switch. Since you can hear the relay click, you don't need to worry about the control side of the relay, but the problem could be...
Thanks for all the good info everyone. I ended up going to another Autozone and he was able to find my record after searching a while, turns out they started entering my phone number including the area code after the default local area code that was already in the computer...:nono:
So anyway, I...
Did this just start after you replaced the clutch? Was the flywheel replaced too? Sounds like the flywheel or pressure plate are not balanced properly if it happened just with the new clutch.
Fwiw I was able to move the rear panel out of the way enough to get to the nuts without completely removing it. I would be careful with the hatch strut, there is a review stating it did not fit.
Just thought I would add that I have done a number of upgrades since this post and made 375 rwhp and 389 rwtq on this clutch, still no signs of slipping. I run the car pretty hard on the street and have done a number of quarter mile passes without issue, this car is also my daily. Will let you...
Ok cool thanks for the tips. Good call on the alternator I will check the charging voltage, check for any AC voltage, and check it for parasitic drain. Not sure how likely it is but considering the case is wet/dirty from the acid I may also have a surface discharge that wouldn't be helping...
Well to start off my Supra is my DD and must be dependable. I have been stranded 3 times in the last couple months due to not starting, which is very frustrating. The first time was due to a poor battery connection/terminal which I have already repaired. Second time, the battery died after...
There is a metal hardpipie that runs under the exhaust manifold and bolts the the lower timing cover which can leak. It is hard to see, you may need a mirror to look up in there, but it is another possible leak point in that area.
Was just wondering if anyone could confirm the size of the banjo bolt that goes onto the top rear of the intake manifold for the brake booster vacuum supply. I am not near my car right now to measure and have not been able to find any information on it through searching. I am trying to add...
Oil pressure is affected by RPM (among other things), but not throttle position, so if its strictly dropping when you go WOT I would be more suspicious of an electrical issue than I would a mechanical issue. Get a mech oil pressure gauge hooked up and verify that the one you are watching is...
