Agreed on the 1UZ + twins idea.. Thats the same general idea behind doing a VH45DE and twins in a nissan platformed car, closed deck, forged rods, sodium filled valves, etc. just built for boost it seems..

No they'll handle much more (the type-s).. friends RB25 is pushing 18lbs through a T04e and it still works just fine. 1J's boost is @ 10.8psi stock.

Driftmotion has the trust speed cut defender that is compatible with the 1JZ.. RHDJapan.com has the boost cut defender. Both for manual.. The thing to remember here is that these controllers work for a few different cars. My SCD works on an Mr2 and a few other cars IIRC. Plain and simple.

Almost all nissan s chassis (SR swapped) that drift competition around here have them. It would be just as benficial to us.
