I was wondering does anyone know what people are doing to get there headlights to have a lower profile? In particular what size light bulb housings and whether or not they are cutting the headlight/motor bezzel, creating their own, or just leaving it larger. I was just thinking of doing this...
Hey everyone,
Anyone have it or seen one, if so what did you think? I am planning on buying it but wanted to make sure it is decent. I am looking for something that is decently quite (which I believe this is) and is routed decently high so it wont scrape. Any input would be appreciated.
I wouldn't worry about that Turbo Hananero as you can just rotate it and face it towards the bumper instead of down. Even with my stock piping that is what i have to do. Plus there is room to cut the 90 degree pipe as you need.
I got mine for 240 shipped. So far I still like the kit especially sine it replaces the stock accordian tube and is a true CAI, but certain things are a bit annoying. First it comes with a plastic mitsubishi maf adapter for a 4" pipe. You are suppose to redrill the holes and use a 4-3"...
Hey i just received this piece and i want to say that the build quality and finish are fantastic. With that being said the fitment is not exactly great :3d_frown:. For those of you who have installed them what did you do to make it fit? My MAF adaptor is a 4" from a Mitsubishi that needs to...
Yes i know the DDP produces better then a regular DP but has anyone seen any numbers on a Rerouted DDP. I am trying to figure out which one i want a rerouted or a standard 3".
Has anyone come across any Dyno tests of Recirculated DDP's? I want a new DP as my 3" still has the stock elbow and i have been looking at the BIC as it seems like a good deal with great feedback, the raptor racing one also looks good. I know that the vent to atmosphere DDP has a decent...
Damn nice car. Dont think it is one ive seen before. There was another white one with blue cloth interior I saw at the Wednesday car show off 84th. There is a white one with gray fender at the audio place off of L street extension. I ran into a gray one at the wallmart parking lot off 80 in...
The ISC was bench tested with an Ohm meter and was within spec. I did not bench test beyond (with battery power) as I figured I would just remove it and clean it while off. As for the bearings I bought them at a machine store down the street they were in stock which is a score. However the...
Well I figured it out. Although my ISC Valve bench tested good I took it apart and found both of the bearings were seized. 15 bucks in bearings later and bam she idles great.
I had checked that the TPS was within spec but hadn't actually adjusted it. So yesterday I pulled the Throttle body cleaned it and adjusted it based off of the TSRM. After adjusting it was re-bench tested and everything was well within spec. Today I reinstalled the TB and still have the same...
Hey guys I have a quick question. I finally managed to get my engine and transmission in and everything seems to be running good with the exception of an idle surge. It seams to idle normal until it warms up then it surges from about 1200 to 1800. Also if i rev the engine it will idle normal...
I know on driftmotion's site they say that the Walbro could be used as a stock replacement. It may be worth a call or PM to them to find out more info. I personally threw one in my car when I dropped the tank to flush it and replace the Fuel filter (i know people have said these shouldn't need...
I am sure more knowledgeable people will chime in to answer. However, if you have stock electronics and fuel system, your fuel cut will limit how much boost you can run. This is in place as a safety precaution. Before someone else posts it might help if you list what mods are already done to...
I have two quick engine harness questions the first is I know there are different wire harnesses for auto and manual and different ones from the 87-88 yellow plug and the later grey plug however I read somewhere that the early 89 may have a different harness then the other post 88 grey plug...
Just as the name states there is a 89 Red NA in the readers ride's section of April's Modified magazine. It is located on the last page of the mag. Seems pretty stock but none the less at least a clean supra is getting some attention.
