Yes I messed up on my second post. What i had ment was that I thought since the vehicle was already a manual i thought the reverse switch would have tied in to the body wiring instead of up through the auto engine harness.

I believe it would be simple to check to see which manual trany you have. Just by looking at pictures of the clutch release fork in the TSRM they look completely different. So just hop under the left side of the car pull off the inspection cover and take a look. I'm sure there are other ways...
