OT: there was a small group of tuners back in the early 90's in japan that got heavily into modifying 1JZ ecu's named "Phantom," to my knowledge they never labeled their ECU's.
only way to tell was having an ecu with an unmarked daughter board IIRC.
just thought I'd throw that out there, one...

Believe me my car and this song are a perfect fit.

I have a few others saved from the album on flickr, but none of his car specifically.. As far as mildly overdone I'm not a big fan of the LED signals or the carbon fiber hoods of that particular design. However, he's japanese and the car is really nice so I approve 100% ahaha.
I have some...
yes these ECU's have an awesome habit of skipping the rev limiter (thats what I named it lol), but I never had one that would go to 8k. Plenty that went to around 7500 though.
Before the ECU could go oh, thats past 7200 oops. haha all 3 soarer motors at the shop did it..
yep, case in point.. the flares at the bottom of the bumper do look a little strange from certain angles but its worth it for the fogs, and the rest IMO.

Who knows about the headlights, my friends S13 is the same way.
It looks cool to see the pavement glow underneath the front of the car at night.. haha
not true.. 1) *the head doesn't float, valves do. (2.) it's definitely not when the rods start to go, thats not generally determined by revs, rather in most cases from stress from other anomalies dealing with such not indicated specifically by revs. But it all depends on power and the state of...
I know the owner of this car, doesnt speak any english lol.. cool car though. this pic was taken by some guy on flickr i believe.
Sick car, I can see how its an inspiration, its mildy overdone though IMO.
I always love the term "JDM" because none of my japanese friends do half the shit that people here do and claim its some amazing finding.
They dont push their wheels out because part of the law governs how far the face of the rim can be from the outside of the fender (cops can cite while parked...
a clutchs holding capacity is more directly related to the PP than anything else, of course the disk matters to a high degree as well, that goes without saying. Another important fact is what the disk material is, kevlar, ceramic, iron, etc and whether its sprung or unsprung.
If you had the...
