Do they face inboard or outboard? They are on the opposite side of the damping adjustment knob which I assume would face in the outboard direction. In pictures I have from disassembly, they face outward, however the ABS wire looks quite kinked in that position.

Seriously, you are in the running for the retarded argument of the year award. Everyone is in the game to make a profit believe it or not. Cars were not designed for the everyday driver to work on, hence why service manuals are not given away freely with cars. Why would you give out manuals...

The only problems I had with the SOGI mod were grinding into third gear, but that was due to tired synchros in the transmission. I'm pretty sure that I will have no more issues with a rebuilt transmission and sogi shifter.

My number one suggestion would be to remove the bolts from BOTH sides of the engine mounts....trying to get the motor back onto the mounts with the lower bolts still in place is....a pain in the ass

where did you get that carpet from?? I bought from AutoCustomCarpets - the heel pad looked nothing like the stock one, and fit was less than ideal (i had the mass backing put on). It seems as though they attempted to mold it to a die, but gave up half way through, because it conforms horribly...
