In all seriousness, what are the benefits of having the fluid up to temp quicker? I've had my external installed for 3 years that completely bypasses the radiator cooler, and have not had any issues...
Wow man...I'm one of the guys who actually took the time to write you various suggestions, and with a lack of information from your part, also tried to give you practical knowledge on how to "burn out." In fact, I returned to this thread in hopes you've replied with some more information so that...
Interesting...take it to someone who knows what they are doing...have them set it up for you...show you how to do it...problem solved. That's my advice.
With your mods you should be able to boost 10+psi w/o a controller...and you should be hitting fuel cut everytime. Something isn't adding up.
Burn out:
Push brake in with left foot
Hold brake in 1/2 to 3/4 way
With right foot slowly push down the accelerator
Once tires start to spin/TC locks, push accelerator to the floor and let off the brake at the same time.
Hold down accelerator and burn out...
32 PSI or 32 Duty? Some of those read duty and you have to turn it up to maybe 50 to break 10psi on a ct26...
If it's hooked up and set correctly, you should get consistent boost. 7psi one moment and 12 the next? Under the same conditions?
You might need to have someone look at it. Probably...
Yes...there is lots you can do....
RESEARCH!
Please...before we get another rebuild thread....
The auto tranny in the mk3 is not very stout...so if you are planning on getting more torque in any way...please:
1) make sure car is absolutely mechanically sound (cost: priceless)
2) external...
Updates for 2012. So I lost compression in #1 and was undecided around whether to swap or build. Because I had thousands of dollars invested in supporting mods for the 7m, I decided to stick with it. My goal is still to have a low to mid 400rwhp daily driver. I'm feeling pretty confident with...
Get the exhaust...chances are in a few months to a year...the dress will be "out of style" and will just sit in a closet. You'll use the exhaust everyday.
I got my turbo back DDP off of ebay 5 years ago...stainless...flows awesome and was one of the most bangs for the buck investments for the...
So, I've had a question as to what my rear end differential is in my 89 supra. I've learned with the research I've done that there is a 89 version of my car, and then there were slight changes in the 89.5 to a few things in the car...and I was wondering if the differential might be among those...
I just had my motor rebuilt by a reputable performance shop, and then tuned by one of the best in the region. After picking the car up from the tuner, I drove it about 20 mins and then started experiencing an issue under mild acceleration.
Under "light load" the car drives/performs well, and...
Cheapest and a very reliable answer is to just maintain the 7m. When you get any other motor...from anywhere...you better got through it (even a 2jz) because you could be dealing with a lemon. And the last thing you want is to have a new motor in your car and blow it up because of a spun bearing...
Calibrating CPS: http://mkiiisupra.net/bbs/showthread.php?t=12132&highlight=guide+cam
It's definitely a pain to get into. But...it's definitely doable. Refer to the TSRM while you do it as well...
Before you start...see if it's loose...wiggle it until it's running well...and then screw it in...
If the alarm is going off...it prevents the car from running. It's essentially a kill switch.
I had a code 12/24/52 before. I replaced the CPS...didn't get any better...(you can have my old one if you want as long as you cover shipping)...and it turned out to be a short in in the series at the...
12. Did you look up what that meant? Make sure you pull all the codes it's throwing.
