I have an auto, so drivetrain loss if it's 570hp it'll be about 450rwhp. I rechecked the HP threads...nobody is listed there using a Hx40. Does anyone have a dynochart of a hx40 on a 7m with supporting mods? Another option may be the gt35r or gt40r...any feedback on those?

Some searching shows Borg Warner is almost the same price as the precision turbos. Are they more reliable? The Hx40 website says they are good for 450hp. Are they just rated really low?

I loved my 50 trim. It's spool was amazing. After putting in the JT62, I actually preferred the 50 trim CT26 because it was way more responsive under daily driving conditions. If you don't need to get to the 400rwhp mark, the 50 trim will work. Many have made 350-370 rwhp on the 50 trim...but...

I made 330whp on a 50 trim CT26 at 18psi with intercooler, exhaust, 550cc's, supporting fuel, VPC/AFC and a tune. I made 402rwhp with a JT62 Turbonetics 7m bolt on turbo with the same mods as above. The JT62 was $1600, and the 50 trim was $650 at the times I bought them. I'm now at 420whp...

I have a 62mm p-trim turbonetics bolt on with suprasport exhaust housing (.81 ar). It was 260rwhp at 7psi, 380rwhp at 15psi, 408 at 17psi, 420 at 19psi. She's running out of breath. Almost same setup as you minus the meth injection and I have a built a340e. This is why I'm strongly considering...

So I just did an entire engine build, put in a new wiring harness, and installed an AEM EMS. Car runs and drives amazing etc etc. The only issue is, under WOT it does not climb over 3k rpms if it's in drive for any gear at any speed. If I manually shift the auto tranny, it will hold gear...

I had recent overheating issues...it was from running the car super rich and retarded timing. With a proper tune, it was fine. I had similar symptoms of overheating for longer rides on the highway etc. Not to say this is the issue, I'm just relating to your situation/story.

Mine is mounted with the fan underneath to suck are in from under the car as it's moving. My radiator is plugged. I had considered running oil through it one time to assist the oil cooler...but have been lazy. I hear people also run power steering through the radiator tranny cooler as well.
