nope.
So long as you tighten the belt tensioner correctly and spin the motor over a few times by hand to assure everything lines up after a few complete cycles.
I'd at least go with MAFT Pro so you can run speed density and get rid of the AFM restriction. A bigger turbo and a little more boost should get you to your goal.
Many guys run them without problems other than clearances. You usually have to use a spacer between the turbo and manifold to clear the strut tower and some have clearance issues with oil filter mounts.
IJ had his hot enough to melt ceramic coating off and it was fine.
