10" Spal here. Not extremely loud, but I can hear it when it is on if my windows are down, of course noise is subjective. About the biggest one you are going to be able to fit.

My car has had this misfire after cold start for as long as I can remember. I have rebuilt this engine twice, have had stock and different piggback computers on it, and it has always done it. When I get in the car in the morning and drive off, the car feels jerky in first and second gear right...
Well deserved...Definitely THE cleanest MK3 I have ever seen. Lots of custom goodies in there too, I was really impressed with your car. One question I didn't get to ask you...there was some sort of fitting on the coolant hardpipe behind the exhaust manifold where there is normally a rubber...
Yeah the way you have it will work fine too, just leave the relay in there. If you want to pull the relay you need to jump the blue/black wire to the black/red wire.
Is your AFR source set to 1? Make sure your wires are connected properly.

Is your TPS reading properly on the MAFT? Almost sounds like you've lost an ecu ground.
Did you put seafoam in the crankcase? The stuff is snake oil, and solvent isnt something you want in your crankcase. Having said that I would be more inclined to believe that topping out your car at 130mph+ with a 200k mile engine has more to do with it than the seafoam. Figure out what the...
I can't figure out what all the fuss is about in this thread. Take the info provided and use it if you so please... You can hate the idea all you want, you don't have to use it nor is it your responsibility to make sure nobody else does, people can make that choice for themselves. Its a...
I've done it before without removing the bumper or washer tank...though I couldnt tell you how. I sat there twisting and turning it for a good 10 minutes before I got it.
There is a section in the TSRM that shows how to test it, it takes some digging to find, its not in plain sight.

Not sure if you have seen that, but try doing that test with a test light, it should tell you right away if...
Ouch, I was way too afraid to use that line when I did my build. Something about using rubber inside the motor where you cant get to it made me feel uneasy lol. Sucks that something that simple killed your motor, but your mock up looks promising!
Its going to be different depending on the year of the block. The older blocks have allen plugs that screw into the block, there are two of them at the rear drivers side (where you highlighted), you don't have to replace these. On the newer blocks, instead of a screw in plug, they changed them...
Its actually an "A1 Cardone" rebuilt unit. Honestly though the only things re-used on it are the housing and the rotor shaft. It has a new gear, new coils/wiring/connector etc so its almost a brand new unit, and a lot cheaper. My old one was leaking oil inside and I didnt want to rebuild it...
Double check your cam timing by making sure the crank pulley is lined up with 0 when both cam gear notches are strait up. Also make sure you inserted the pin into the center hole of the cam and installed the gears with the pin in the center hole. Are you holding the throttle wide open when you...
Been using them for maybe a year on my car with Eibach lowering springs. Really happy with the ride quality. They wont be the best for handling but they are compatible with lowering springs and will be more comfy than something stiffer.
