Want to confirm Oil Gauge proper readings..

Interesting...but knowing me I think the less information I have the better :P

Lol am I missing a part that bolts on the head?

Your point is true. On paper it could essentially damage your engine but in reality who knows. Perhaps you will come across a unique situation where an extended amount of pinging would happen because of the lack of EGR and now you have permanently damaged your engine. I haven't seen anyone...

    TPS Calibration

I know there are two versions of TPS. One has the tabs in the horizontal position when released and the other in the vertical position. Not sure if this has anything to do with your issue but something to consider if you just bought a new one and it isn't working properly for whatever reason.

Lol am I missing a part that bolts on the head?

3p laid this out somewhere else. Its not that the ECU tune is affected by EGR it's that they have programmed the ECU to expect EGR operation under certain conditions. If you remove the EGR, the ECU still expects EGR under these particular conditions, but has no idea that there is no EGR flow, so...

    No heat after coolant flush..?

Be careful, you most likely have a huge air pocket in the heater. This happened to me and I drove off without realizing, as soon as the air pocket released itself it left a huge amount of air in the engine, cause me to overheat rapidly and ended up causing a BHG. You may need to disconnect the...

    Few simple Lexus AFM questions

So in your experience, you have a car that drives like stock? No noticeable difference at any point? Did you find that the adjustment screw on the LIPP meter was useful? Is there any way to get at the factory screw? I have read the factory screw is also shorter than the one in the LIPP, and...

    Few simple Lexus AFM questions

Are you suggesting standalone? As far as standalones go, I have never seen any in person that have enough adjustability to make a Supra run like a brand new Supra off the showroom floor driving around town. From what I understand, the amount of time and effort put into the stock ECU is superior...

    Few simple Lexus AFM questions

That's just it. I don't want to get myself involved in more of a tuning nightmare unless I know for sure that it is proven to work and work well. Good drivability means different things to different people. I have gotten in other peoples cars and they say it runs great, yet the thing is...

    Few simple Lexus AFM questions

I have not solved the misfire yet, there are multiple problems here, but the Maft has so many hands in the thing at this point that I feel it will be much easier to solve the problem once it is gone. For instance, the Maft receives the TPS signal from the TPS and recreates a new signal for the...

    Few simple Lexus AFM questions

Its little things. Keep in mind I am picky. I find there is not enough resolution in the VE table to get a really accurate tune. One example...I get a slight hesitation on light acceleration at a particular RPM/gear. The AF gauge is at 14.7 or so as I increase in speed and at the particular...

    Few simple Lexus AFM questions

I just have a few simple questions regarding the Lexus AFM upgrade. I know a lot of people have done this upgrade, so I figure there will be a lot of input. A list of my current mods to begin with... Walbro 255LHP pump Denso 550CC injectors pnp Aeromotive FPR 3" exhaust 57trim CT26 2.5"...

    7M Coolant flow

No, because the heater has water pump "suction" on the other end whereas this pipe thing doesn't.

    7M Coolant flow

That kind of makes sense, but what causes more pressure at the back of the head than the front of the head when the heater is off? And if this is the case why does it need a bypass why can't the coolant just flow through the coolant passages in the head to the front of the head?

Oil leak from hole in front of engine

Yes it is a weep hole, if you have oil coming from here you need to pull the timing cover and check where the leak is coming from. Most likely it is from the cam seals, oil pump shaft seal, or crank seal, but there are other possibilities.
