Did you clean the screen at the bottom of the res?

You could use a 7m or a 2jz pilot bearing, they're the same.

Porting heads is an art, like most art forms its difficult to do well. Then again some people are just good at that sort of thing. If you interested in doing it for yourself, research what the tools would cost and decide from there. (proper tools are key)

Chasing threads means to send a tap down all the bolt holes to clean the crap out. Google "thread chaser".

Base timing at 0* will not damage the engine, however it will not cause the coolant to boil either. Were you able to get the engine light to flash with the jumper in?

One of those wet carpet vacuums, may work. Keep soaking the seat with water and sucking the soap out with the vacuum. Till its all out.

The clock, radio, starter, alt, battery, ecu, and others. Also there are fuses in the drivers kick panel, and the engine compartment that also have power all the time. What area do you need power?

May be turbo related also. What have you checked?

There are to many variables to say what you RPMs should be at, in or out of OD. Can you see and feel the RPMs change when you shift in and out of OD (while at highway speeds)? A faulty dash light will not affect OD performance. Also, what is the issue?
