I've got a co-worker with a Mazdaspeed 6 too. I think his is stock though. They have something like 276 crank HP don't they? I think the Mazda is lighter (but not sure). Tell him to race from a roll and go from there, it sounds like it's going to be a close race... Any idea of what HP your old...
That's the one I like too, not too over-the-top, but different enough to be noticable ;).
Edit:: It's about 280.00 bucks delivered to my door for that bumper, shipping is a bitch!
Here's a great replacement BPV from Forge for when the stocker isn't good enough: http://www.forgemotorsport.com/content.asp?inc=product&cat=0006&product=FMDVS013B
I've never had to put the car on jack stands to take any of that stuff off either... You just need some patience, and an idea of what you are doing when you can't really see what you're taking off.
A 10 second search under "knock sensor removal" yeilded this: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7952&highlight=knock+sensor+removal
It's not a hard tool to use man, don't take it for granted. ;)
Um, refresh my memory, is the FPD connected by a banjo bolt? If so Driftmotion has a gasket for a banjo bolt, ask Aaron if he knows if it'll fit or not...
No, the reason you make more power (when tuned) off of higher octane is because it's resists pre-ignition better than lower octanes. You can raise the boost up more and tune closer to the edge with a higher octane.
