I personally wouldn't like to squeeze out every bit of power a certain octane has to offer, there's always that "if" that could happen and cause detonation. 11.5-11.7 A/F gives you a little bit of a cusion.

I checked your profile for mods, but you don't have any listed, so I'm assuming you're stock. The car from the factory runs pretty rich at WOT, so that should be normal. Idling also has a lean A/F to it, but I'm not sure how lean a stock car is. The "monitor" is only going to be a light show as...

Premium is NOT more combustable, it's the opposite. Regular unleaded is more combustable than premium. During light throttle driving (highway driving for example) lower octane fuel will burn more completely whereas high octanes will have more unburnt fuel left behind, this is where a multiple...
