would not cut the IC, but you can move the oil cooler over or relocate it.
I just think you will have you IC pipes blowing off all the time if you cut them.
i have the treadstone and it fits in realy good, demension on it are 22.5 in. long and 12 in. tall with 2 in. in and out.
i will have pictures up monday night of the finished project. There was not to much to modifiy, but my friend is realy good at routing and welding. there are a total of 5 silicone couplers to connect everything up.:icon_razz
my good freind is working on my car this weekend, he is a master at welding and building nasty cars! He is the owner of BRIGHTSIDE in L.A, if anyone is looking for someone who goes above and beyond. He is also the guy behind biulding one of the baddest Honda's out there.
he is installing a...
^^^^ try checking all the sensor's that the ecu use's.
to day after a three hour drive, I let it halfway cool down and then started it to move it. The af's were lean and i got the ruff idle, but after 30 seconds it smoothed out and af's went normal.
so its still there, just not as bad. i am...
It was the o2 sensor gasket, it would not lay flush. when i started it after fixxing it the A/F"s were normal @13.5 then as it warmed up it went to 15.3 and then 14.5. i noticed the idle was still low so i adjusted the the idle screw and dash pot with the slightest turn.
i do have a vsv on...
ok started it up and it was running alittle on the lean side but then within 2 seconds it headed torwards rich. it ended at 13,8 and then slowly went to 14.5 very happy with the way it is running right now. When i put the O2 sensor on with no gasket it was easy to see it was not flush, i fixxed...
i have the safc2 now, did you have to start your NE points at 800rpm and then go up from there?
i have not had a chance yet to set up vf wire. tonite though!
i found that my O2 sensor would not sit flat so i fixxed that and i am going to start car in 20min.
it kida fluttered, but when i put the valve together and tested it, it looked to me to be open.
i have done many things in the past few months since it started, but has gotten worse.
i am going to check the bic downpipe and make sure it is sealed tight. thanks for letting me know about the...
just check the iscv per tsrm and the first test checked out, but the second test did not.
when I put positive power to b1-b2 and repeatedly ground s1 s2 s3 s4, it did not move. the i reversed the order and it still did not move.
it looks to be stuck open. letting all air pass by.
could...
ok thanks. is it the THW water temp sensor? can you give me the symbol for it.
so i just finished reading over the tread you made about your idle and lean problem. have you fixxed the issue or is it still runnunig the same? i realy feel they could have some of the same issues.
i set the afpr @ 28psi and when it idles like crap it stays @ 28psi. i try and rise it to 30 and then to 32psi with no change so i bring it back down to 28psi
the wideband is located behind the stock oem sensor. I dont think there are any leaks up stream. But lets say the down pipe was leaking, would that cause it to idle ruff and low?
one more thing, i want to hook up the blue wire, which wire do i tap into?
thanks grim
Im just worrried about lining every thing back up on the cps. but i will get it done.
it did run great for awhile, but it loves to idle lean for some reson. what"s your safc neo read on sensor check for throttle volts. @ wot and is it at zero when you have your foot off the gas?
sory it took so long to get back to this, but i have been working on it alittle at a time. my wife is geating ready to have a baby and time is not mine. so i work on my baby at night:cry:
