dam i was told to put it over the hole gasket! when i changed it out 8 months ago there was silicone holding the it in all the way around it.
so i should clean it all out and put a new one in and only put the right stuff in the corners?
i just put ngk 3307 and gapped them to .028 with msd wires. amd the low idle after warm up did not get better, i will put a new video up from a cold start. thanks for the help! keep it coming.
no codes. how do you do a block test. i went to auto zone and asked for a block test kit and the guy brought me a bottle. told me to put it in the coolent system and run the car and if the exhaust is yellow then its bad.
is that realy how it goes? that just does not seem right.
thats what i was thinking, pirate air would go through there. I'm not leaking any oil at all, but leaking air yes!
i guess i have a fun job ahead of me. can i use the RIGHT STUFF from nappa?
and thanks for the info.
I have been trying to figure this out for a couple of months now. i don't seem to have any vacume leaks, fuel leaks, or exuast leaks. I did notice the ground to the coil pack was hanging on by a thread. Would that cuase the problem? It also will idle good for a little bit.
I think it might...
no its not unplugged, but it might be bad.
would this have anything to do with the safc i just installed, or running the car before setting the safc.
the only reason i did not think it was the safc is because i pulled the fuse after i set the safc.
yep there are 8 points and at 500rpm. start it @ 3000-3500 and end the tune at 6000. you can not tune past 5500 rpm's due to the timing being pulled by the ecu. and you can only tune for WOT too. (that would be anything past 75% throttle) the best thing i found out is to set you afpr to the best...
