i had 04 cobra wheels on my 90. you should be fine without rings. if you're that worried about it. you can find a set of four on e-bay for like $10.

i have 18x9.5 +20 rears, with 255-35-18s. the tire's not even close to the fender. i did just a roll on mine. i think i can fit a 275-35 on there with no issues. i have the same front wheel size as you. i'm running a 225-45-18 for now. just a roll up front too.

how much room is on the inside of the rear wheels? i love the wheel and tire size, but don't want them sticking out that far.

the plan is to design it with a wedge shape. most of the ones i see for sale are just a tube. that isn't optimal for flow. on the other hand, the intake is pressurized, so it may not be as big a deal as we think.

depending on the offset, it would be fine. i wish i never got rid of my 17x10.5 cobra wheels. they fit perfect with a 275-40 on the rear. :(

the alternator brackets i have DO put the alternator where the ac goes. i'll be looking into making a ffim that doesn't require the alt to be moved.

i'm taking all these things into consideration. as soon as we get another break in the weather, i'll be bringing my car out to the shop so we can start playing with things. while we're at it, we'll be looking into making some other 7m specific parts.... i already have the alternator brackets...

do you think people will really want the csi in there? i haven't seen many ffim's that have that. all this is helpful. thanks a lot.

cool. i think we're looking at around $450 for the ffim. the quality and workmanship will be second to none. i too think it should have the stocl tb and isc. i also think there will be people that want it setup for an aftermarket tb and no isc. i don't think the isc is needed if you're running...
