i drove my supra with a rod knock and oil leaks for almost 3 years before it got really noisy. i beat the piss out of it every time i drove it. lol. i finally threw another motor in it last week.
thanks guys,..... i set it to 10* with the diag jumpered. when you pull the jumper it goes to 12*. i'll be leaving it at the stock settings, i don't want to build another motor. lol
the problem is still most likely the resistor. as long as it's still hooked up, the power has to go through it. if it is bad, your switch will not work. a bad resistor will only let the current through on high speed.
