you can definitely fit 275-40's in back at stock ride height. u was running 17x10.5's +27, with 275'5, and it was a perfect fit.

cool. you have a good offset. if you were +15 or so, you'd be rubbing all the time. the car looks good just like that. any issues on the inside with that offset?

which one of these would you guys recommend for around 500 wheel? i plan on bc stage 2 or 3 cams down the line, and a rebuild with oversized probe forged pistons, etc... also, i'll be tuning with megasquirt soon. that said, i'll be running it on a stock block for a while till the new motor is...

the reason i ask is i have a line on some black rpf1's in that size. i know they're a little wide up front and a little narrow in back, but they are awesome rims. i guess they'll do until i find the PERFECT setup.

i see. i thought they would stick out farther. i think they will be too aggressive up front. do you think that a 18x10.5 will fit if it has a higher offset? any ideas who makes a 10 or 10.5 inch wheel with a 25-35 offset? i'm trying to squeeze some 285 or 295's under there :)

you're most likely going to have lower end bearing failure. coolant will ruin the lower end. i suggest rebuilding the whole thing before you cause more damae.

the newer blocks have more ribs on the outside. is this a big deal? i have an older, and a newer block. i just want to know which one to go with.
