Head's already on the block....and that info isn't what I'm looking for. I should be good on compression; even though the gasket is shorter than what I needed, the bores in the gasket are 86mm and I'm still running stock pistons.

That's what I measured....ok, ok....3.5x, almost 3.6.

I need to know the event timings at the least to degree them in properly. Thickest gasket I could get was a 3mm, and I really needed a 3.6....so I need to degree the cams to make sure everything's gravy.

I just painted mine black....it'll do until I can get my hands on a jdm ecu to run the block-off plates again.

Bump -- Ok, tried a search, but couldn't come up with anything. Does anyone know the specs for the factory turbo cams, and the proper event timings and what not? (what crank degree the lobe should start opening, etc.) It just occurred to me that this info would probably be good to have when...

I'm deeply sorry for your loss bro, I can't imagine the heartache. I've had Roxy a year now, and I dread the day (hopefully years off yet) that I lose her....I'm totally in love with that dog...lol. As was mentioned though, keep your chin up and remember the good times.

I had that whine, ended up being the turbo to manifold gasket....it had delaminated and a couple of the mounting nuts on the turbo had worked loose...so air was blowing by that gasket and vibrating the layers.

I've got a hardcopy of the 87 EWD buried in a box in storage somewhere...if I remember, I can try and find it this weekend.

That's what I thought you meant. I used it on the RX-7 Oil cooler I'm going to put on my car, and it worked great....fins are the same orientation. On a sidenote, a buddy of mine also said a BBQ brush works pretty well to...but that was on A/C condensers, where the fins are in a finer pattern.
