I have used two different forms of electric/aftermarket fan control switches and switch mounting designs. I figured I would give a listing of some new switches I found in hopes that they might make life easier for some people.
I had been using a Horton fan switch for fan control on a semi/big...
Aaron nobody is implying that your crazy or you don't know what you are talking about. I reacted to two things, first off the question was is tuning to 16 psi crazy on his mods. People jumped right in and said no. You showed a bunch of pictures of blown headgaskets and pointed out issues with...
First off the horsepower comment on my part was made to again point out yet another limitation put on these engines and your right it didn't have anything to do with this thread, but neither did you using this thread as another opportunity to sell parts, see page 2. You come off in these...
There is just as much real world experience out there that says that there are no rules when it comes to this period. I get a kick out of people that come on here and say you can't do this and you can't do that and try to put limitations on what these engines can or cannot do. I have one 7m in...
I'm on stock internals and I'm going to set mine for 7500 rpm on my AEM. Reg Riemer had experienced no problems turning 7000 to 7200 on a stock 7m with his Techtom upgrades.
Yes, it looked like your spring and yes they are alot of fun to remove the wastegate from the manifold when it is on the car. I have done this on both the XSPower and my old HKS cast long runner manifold. That was one of the reasons I now have a Tial 44 mm wastegate as it is a v band mount...
I have an old HKS (2000) catalog and it has the green spring listed in there as 10.2 psi for the standard 40 mm gate.
I could push 31 to 32 psi out on the road, but no higher than 29 on the dyno. It would however hold 29 psi until redline.

I made 525 rwhp/475 rwtq @ 19 psi on my 67 mm turbo and 510 rwhp/470 rwtq @ 20.5 psi on Willie's car on a 67 mm turbo. Both these engines are stock inside with the exception on mine having a 1.2 mm HKS MHG and ARP bolts. I believe as stated above the Ebay T70 is close to a 61 mm turbo in sizing...
The green spring is 10.2 psi. It's the same color I had in mine. I could do 7 psi on just wastegate and 29 psi with my HKS EVC EZ. Most of the time with an EVC the bottom port is used to open the valve and the top port is used to put psi back in against the spring to allow you to raise the boost...
I appreciate it. Brian told me to email him which I did and he emailed me back and said as soon as they are ready to ship he'd let me know. They are new cores not regrinds and the stage 2's are plug and play, but the stage 3 require upgraded springs. From all the cam manufacturers I've talked...
Just got off the phone with them and they got backed up alittle and are two to three months out, but they are new cores with the stock base circle and will be 500.00 a pair. Stage 2 is plug and play and stage 3 requires springs.

I was reading inthe new Turbo magazine and came across a new product add for camshafts.
Here is the page off the website from www.briancrower.com
Pricing seemed to be about 543.00 for 2 if I read this right.
The 7M-GE and 7M-GTE were both high-performance engines used by Toyota in...
Napa's 7777 part numbered bottom radiator hose is for an 86 Celica/Supra with a 2.8 L 5m-ge. I have also done 2.5 inch IC piping with the stock hose but this on certainly makes things less cluttered and Dave and I don't run IC pipe that small.
One thing that ought to be mentioned is the what some people put turbo vendors through when ordering or not ordering. I buy all my turbo parts from Dave B. and Dave H. and not just because they are friends of mine, but because they stand behind what they do and will go the extra mile for you...
I have been building another Supra right now as well as working on an S10 that we drag race on Saturdays. I have all the parts together such as an AEM, 1000 cc injectors, the 1.01 T4 housing for the turbo and a 44 mm Tial wastegate with a 15 psi spring. I will start on the header as soon as I...
