I remember having trouble with this also. The mounts are on the front and back.
With one hand push the whole "housing" forward. With the other hand, put your fingers in where the mirror goes under the cover, and pull forward and down. Disengage one front corner then the other.
With SD logging the fastest "sample interval" supported is 3ms. but you can also log with bluetooth and directly connected to a computer, but I cant find the speed of those. On my logs there are 16 fields loged. megalogviewer is the program used to view the logs, the basic version is free if you...
Huh, I never realized there was a reference voltage that was pulled low, with the jumper. I guess I never put much thought as to what the jumper was actually doing. Good to know.
This page shows all the trigger wheel arrangements and their possibilitys.

Have you checked that E1 is ACTUALLY ground?
Next, check for continuity through TE1, from the diag block to the ecu.
Its only two steps, you can do it!!!
The oil pressure sending unit on the soarer 1jz is just a swich, for a dummy light. It will not work with the stock gauge.
You need to adapt your old 7m pressure sensor, on the 1j, to make the dash read correctly.
^Driftmotion sells a line for this^
Quick question, am I reading this right?
AC fan #3 shuts OFF, with the headlights ON? If so, why? Simply to not overload the charging system, or another reason?

I am working on a MS3 setup.
I have 2 sensors, one from a 1ZZ corola, and one from a 1NZ prius. Both with the same part number. 89615-20090.
The studs are cheap, I dont want to know, the price of the sensor.
I stumbled across that thread a while back, definitely a good read.
Mounting wideband, non-resonant, flat response, knock sensors to your engine.
If you have ever tried to do this, you would have noticed that the stock sensors use a M12X1.25 thread, and most wideband sensors use a M8x1.25 stud. Toyota already has a solution.
There are at least 2...
I have been looking into using the idle motor in the stock configuration for many months now. This was my first clue that it could be done. It is for a 5m plug-and-play kit that DIY sells. It uses the same 6 wire idle valve as a 7m, 1jz, 2jz. Half way down they briefly explain the setup. For...
Does it act the same if you hook it directly to the ms unit? (eliminating the wiring harness)
I bet if you eliminate that noise the sensor will work better.
I dont think a dry u-joint would eliminate an output shaft seal. Is there oil inside the cup at the end of the trans? Is there oil all over the body near the transmission?
