This depends on wich combo of mounts and brackets u get. the late model or early model jz. For example I used new stock mounts when i put my 1j in my sc300, but at first i bought the 97 mounts and it sat to high. So i had to get either matching brackets or correct year mounts. So i used my Old...

hey im down in cabot I have a sc300 with a soarer 1J im actually wanting to test the same thing i think either my ignitor or ecu may be bad, either way let me know somthin im sure we can figure somthing out

hmm ok i will double check that anyway. So i should be able to check for continuity between the 12 pin plug and coils plugs and then the 12 pin plug and ecu plug. correct?

no pretty sure it was fuel. i would have to check wich wire it was again tho

for the radiator hoses just use 93 and up supra TT hoses. I know this for sure on SC300's and pretty sure on mkIII's. not wanting to give u bad info but im pretty sure on it just get a second opinion for sure

if your talking bout a 1j starter u can just use a 2j one. both na or tt they both fit and work fine. also a starter thru ol' autozone is $127

ok i think its fixed. one of the pins was not in all the way in my ecu plug. all seems to be well now. it still has a tiny bit of roughness due to idling really low but it revs very nice and clean. so i may adjsut the idle up a bit
