if its a mechanical boost gauge all u have to do is hook it to any vacuum line on the intake manifold.... if your gauge doesnt work when u hook it up, well then you either have a bad gauge (unlikely) or dont have it on the right line.... your gauge should read negative psi while idle and 0 out...
also you could just sell the soarer harness and ecu and buy a supra one, the soarer ones are a bit harder to find so you may be able to make a few bucks also in the proccess
Nice!! was jsut discussing this yesterday. Lol now i see its finnally gonna be done! somebody upload this so i can check it out when i get back in the states. Hope you win youself a chevelle!
everything i have seen says the 1j deck hight is differant from the 2j thats why they use the 2j lower end.... besides if u have the cash for a stroker kit im sure a 2-300 for a 2j block wouldnt be all that hard... then u can just run a 3.4L 1J lol!!! wich would be awesome
edit: why go...
this will sound stupid but i say sell the harness to a needy soarer swapping guy, they are hard as hell to find and u can sell it for more than the cost of a jza70 one, lol so be nice sell it buy a supra one make a little cash and make a soarer guy happy too.
well it comes down to what a supra TT resovoir would cost, prolly expensive for somthing i dont care how it looks. i will prolly try to reuse mine, or find a mk3 one from a junkyard.
Ok so just wondering if you supra guys keep your stock resovoir and move it, for the SC300 everyone says you cant use the stock one. Basicly, I was remembering back to my MK3 and recall being able to use that style. Is my mind playing tricks on me or is that feasible. oh sorry also tried...
yo.... where do you live in arkansas? im gonna be doing my soarer 1j swap into my sc300 when i get back home from overseas. if your kinda close maybe i can lend a hand with urs if u need it.
I've seen a link before of the differences of the 1J revision 1 and 2, now all I can find is the pic showing the vent line. any help would be egsellent. thanks in advance
