3mm HKS head gasket is $240 at Suprasport...that's where I bought mine IIRC (it's been a few years). Shipping shouldn't be too much more than that...even international shipping.
Already did it when I built the block up 2-1/2yrs ago....used 'The Right Stuff' as a sealant not only there, but most of the engine; no leaks so far...and nothing clogged/restricted as far as I can tell in any of the oiling system.
If it's the flange on the oil drain fitting on the block, either you didn't use a gasket at all, or it could be a warped flange. You'll have to take it off and inspect it. I would get a can of 'The Right Stuff' and make your own gasket with that; put a decent bead around the flange mating...
When I bought my car the front seal on the PS pump was toast, so I cut the belt off....thing was kind of a bitch to turn at a dead stop, but other than that not too bad. Pretty much did the same thing when I dropped the new motor in, left the belt off the new (to me) pump....was gonna bleed the...
NOBODY has any input? I feel like I'm asking stupid questions or something with over 100 views and only two people have responded....I was hoping some of the old-school guys (Mike, J-Dub, JJ, IJ, etc.) would chime in...
Ah -- IIRC, Dodge did a VERY similar color for the Vipers...was supposed to be really close to the 'Deep Amethyst' that they did for the dakotas too, but I never took the time to verify that.

Update:
Fixed the coolant leak on the T-stat housing...looked like the hose below it was leaking as well; tightened the clamp more and seems to be ok. After that, I tried burping the system -- One thing I noticed was that even after the engine came up to temp, the lower rad hose was still cold...
Could also go mesh, like the Street Scenes inserts some vehicles run. IIRC, you can buy the mesh in bulk...maybe not from them, but I can find out where. This is the stuff (in my cross-hairs grille)...and if you have a dark vehicle like black, you could maybe do a black chrome finish.
