It was like that when I first found out about it -- started running water through the mirror, spraying the shit out of the wasps.....and they just...wouldn't...go...away! So next day I came back with the uber-wasp spray and went to town....lol. I'd still be paranoid about dead ones being in...
Installed my Aeromotive AFPR and did the break-in runs. One thing I did notice is that the Aeromotive behaved exactly like the XS Power one when trying to dial back my fuel pressure and also when hooking up the vacuum line....so I'm not so sure the knock-off is actually bad... *shrug* Still...
Yes and yes -- you have to trim the big rubber boot, and you can cut down the upper rod that the shift knob screws onto....that's what I did.
Nash -- got to really play with mine tonight finally (was in on your first GB 3yrs ago) when I was doing my break-in runs. So far, I like it....it's...
Backstory: A few years ago, while my car was on jackstands at my Uncle's, wasps made a hive inside my driver's side mirror. I ended up killing 'em all off with some wasp spray and soaked the shit out of the hive with it by spraying most of the can inside. Since then, i've wanted to find a way...
I ordered a new cap from the dealer one time and it was too small as well -- turns out, the GE and GTE radiators used different caps. Might've been you issue at vatozone as well...?

Changed my T-stat with a shiny new OEM Toyota one....and even tested the old one beside the new one in a pot of boiling water -- yup, old one was fucked....wouldn't open. Also wired up my e-fans up to a manual switch for now, until I can troubleshoot why the temp controller wasn't...
I'm not afraid to admit that I didn't know WTF a 2JZ was before that movie.... I knew what a MkIV Supra was, just not the engine...lol. See? FnF CAN be educational...
Are you running wheel spacers at all? I had a similar problem right after I bought my car -- would shimmy while cruising about 60ish. One day my buddy asked me if I had a bent rim, so I pulled the wheel and noticed a few things; previous owner put 1/4" spacers on and didn't put longer studs...
Not sure about the OEM Toyota exhaust gaskets, but most exhaust gaskets are made of a single or multi-layer perforated steel with a cardboard interior. With these types of gaskets, one usually needs to retorque multiple times after a few heat cycles to ensure a proper seal...on top of that, you...
Has the block been prepped too? There's a formula on here (spreadsheet I think) that will tell you what thickness gasket you need based on the block height and head height. But, if the block hasn't been prepped, good luck getting a mhg to seal...
