Finally put the mechanical oil tester gauge on after work -- we have BANGIN' oil pressure, so looks like it's either the BRAND NEW sender I installed, or the gauge in the cluster. *shrug* Oh well, I was planning on running an aftermarket pressure gauge anyway...lol. It's just nice to know...
My car was down for almost 4yrs.....just got it running a few weeks ago, but having some issues to troubleshoot still, so I'm STILL not driving yet....lol.
Picked up a 3-tier Craftsman toolbox tonight for $200. A few scuffs in the paint, but structurally is in great shape. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty happy about it!
Irwin Brand, should be able to get it at Ace Hardware. If you can't find one today, let me know and I'll send you one....for some reason I ended up with 2 or 3 when I did my build....one's still sealed in the package....lol.
Nope -- not kidding. Gramps taught me that. Oh, and this is in respect to head bolts. I've done it that way on every vehicle I've done heads/head gasket on with zero issues. Gramps' theory behind it is that when the bolts are torqued, the threads between the bolt and hole wear to each other...
Changed out my oil filter to see if that was causing the gauge to read zero....wasn't that lucky, so still have to put a mech. gauge on it when I have more than 5min to spare... *smh*

Yeah, those pins were fun to extract from a power supply harness...hell, even chaff bucket connectors sucked...lol. I was able to swipe a crimper kit before I left though, so if I ever need to use one I can...HA!
I even toyed with the idea of installing a canon plug on the firewall where the...
As these guys have posted, Canon plugs are probably your best bet. If you look hard enough, you might be able to find one capable of 70 or 80 pins...I believe I had one or two in the gear I worked on in the Navy.
The prev owner of my old 87 put a 6-puck in not too long before I bought t -- it rarely ever chattered on me, usually only in reverse when I was starting out on an incline (I guess technically decline, since the nose of the car was pointing down...lol).
