hey i was looking for the north carolina section to post this is but it seems to be gone. i live in havelock, nc and i see that there is another mk3 turbo supra here and its a black 86-88 with a fmic and just got an hks drager exhaust put on at kamikaze. i was wondering if the owner is a member...
j/k...dont mean to seem forceful, but what idealsupra says does make more sense and it is the reasoning behind my build.
and like i said before, if you need anyhelp, just ask, mine should be done about a month or so.:biggrinki
i wasnt gonna be THAT blunt, but yeah, i think he gets the idea now.....shouldnt be any other questions then. let us know how it goes rebuilding your 7M....:evil2:
boring the block isnt to get more power, but to ensure that the cylinder walls are like new, and going only .020 over, it leaves room for more rebuilds as opposed to boring your block .040 or .060 over.
sorry if that sounds confusing, maybe someone else on here can explain with more...
congratulations on your supra! Have you ever driven the turbo supra...i know your a fan of your n/a but driving the turbo model is so much better...imo, but yeah how bout some pics?
the price tag will vary with what your goals will be for your supra, im doing a "full rebuild" and my tag is gonna cost me around $6k, but i have fairly high goals for my car, so in an effort to not clutter up this thread with my rebuild, let me know if you want me to pm you with my list.
i...
im sorry i didnt add that, but my engine is getting rebuilt right now, so the block and head will definitely be resurfaced and it will also have arp for everything in the engine. since the cylinder bore will be 83.5mm should i go with the 84mm or the 83mm version?
