Are you sure? The trans has never seen more than stock boost and these things are supposed to be almost bullet proof. Noise stops when I step on the clutch pedal. If its because it needs to be rebuilt wouldn't it make the knocking/tap noise whether the clutch is engaged or not?

Yes it is a continuous tap/knocking sound. I don't have to push the clutch pedal all the way in though to make the noise go away, maybe like 2 inches in and the knocking goes away. Anyone else been through this?

Both my 89NA and 91T have around 170k.

I started hearing a knocking noise a little while back that sounds like the early stages of rod knock but it goes away when I step on the clutch pedal, then comes back a few seconds after I let it go. Throwout bearing? Flywheel bolt? Anybody?

Sounds like its your Piston rings. Check and make sure you have spark and fuel.

Can you get condensation in your engine a couple days after you've ran it and showed no signs of it before? Also how long should it last in your engine till you stop getting stuff under the oil cap?

I'm about to drain it. I just saw the oil cap when I drove the car after letting it sit for a while. Im asking because a friend fired up his camaro after it was also sitting for a while, revved it pretty hard in park, and I found milkshake in his cap after. We thought he had a BHG but the stuff...

I just wanted to make sure that milkshake in your oil cap means definitely a BHG or can there be other causes (besides a cracked head/block). The head looks like it's been machined before so the HG might still be ok but there's no way to tell how long ago the work was done.

What about using PB? Is it possible to ruin the thread with a chaser?

Crap, knew it was too easy. Where do you guys buy your sensors at? Kragen o'reileys tried to well sell me a "universal" o2 sensor with only one wire. I listened to their knowledgeable advice just for a laugh, and left.

Are you going to buy another supra everytime you blow a HG? Just fix it.

Will an 87t sensor fit a 91t? I have a used one laying around but I know for a fact it's good.
