    1JZ VS 7M BHG repair

Just doing the BHG repair with a stock gasket and arp headstuds would probably cost you roughly no more than $200. And doing it yourself should take a weekend, but if you wanted a MHG then you should have your block and head decked and thats where the $$$ starts to add up. It all depends on...

    Reliable 400-450 HP?

I would research it, because you may not need a stage 4, but definitely more than a stage 1 I believe.

    engine wire harness

Well, since you didnt remove it, it will make it a lot harder than what it really is to put back on but it still isnt that hard. Start from the firewall and lay the harness ontop of the lower intake plenum(with upper removed) and you will see the injector clips, you cant miss them. Clip those...

    Reliable 400-450 HP?

For 450rwhp, you will need more than a stage 1 clutch, I would suggest a stage 3 or stage 4 possibly.

    Built W58??

Thats true, but I already knew that. I have like 5 different sites bookmarked for this swap, its just getting all the parts....I dont want to chase down all these parts individually, Id rather find them all together.

    Built W58??

Well, when I said built, I was referring to beefing up the R154(if the parts were even existent), I wouldnt expect a rebuilt R154 to perform better than stock, I would just rather do that for piece of mind like SS5000 said. I have a rebuilt 7m, so I would rather mate it to a rebuilt tranny...

    Built W58??

I said 500rwhp for the W58, but if I had a R154 I would expect it to push much further past those boundaries, because I have higher expectations for that tranny.

    Built W58??

btw Aaron you wouldnt be able to provide a built R154 with everything needed for the swap at a nice price would ya?:naughty: PM me if you would be able to help out and would ship such an item.

    Built W58??

Im glad you chimed in Aaron, you have any idea what the price comparison would be to a built W58 compared to purchasing all the parts for the R154 swap and building that one as well? No matter which one I start with its still gonna be done right, no sense in cutting corners on a tranny. Ive...

On the Fence: What's my project worth?

I believe every supra owner starts to question themselves as you are when their car is down like this, I know I did. Right now, my car is down due to my seized turbo, and I know it will be worth my patience once its back on the road again. Hell, my car goes down about every 2 weeks it seems...

    Built W58??

Okay, Ive been doing some research on my next mods and then all of a sudden it hit me that Im still sportin the W58 from my supra before I did the 7MGTE swap. So I was wondering if it was possible to beef up the W58 to hold roughly 500rwhp reliably without having to locate a decent R154 thats a...
