I would get the supra anyday over keeping the celica, hell even keep the celica and buy a supra w/ some problems and slowly rebuild it back to original and then start bolting on some mods....

Who cares about the miles? I mean, just buy whatever is cheapest/easiest and rebuild it to start over anyway. I would always start with a fresh motor if I already had it out of the car

Well, if this is your first mk3 turbo supra, then it should feel weak. The stock turbo supra is a rather slow car compared to most these days. But if you want, you could do a compression test on the car and see if that shows any problems. Check for boost leaks as well, as that can be robbing...
