Thanks, I needed the "barney" version of that. But one question.....since my engine wont start how will I be able to check that timing to set it to 10*? I will take the cps out and put it back in, just to make sure. But would that keep it from starting?

The crank and the cams are at 0 right now. Would I need to pull the cps and adjust that? Not even sure what I would be adjusting though honestly....

Yes sir, I was just searching threads related to backfire, and I found one very similar to mine and then it just dead ends....the guy never came back and said what the fix was or anything, I hate that!:3d_frown:

The vibration wont go away by switching to a turbo motor, I would just fix the problems you have right now, unless you already have a built motor waiting to drop in and then you could do that, and then fix the vibration, which could be a number of things like already mentioned.
