I have a dimmer switch from a 87 Supra. I dont know where in Illinois you are but If you pick it up you can have it for free or if you pay for shipping
I paid $990.00(shipped) for a 7mGTE motor with 31,000 miles but even though it had a BHG:(, everything looked like new, ran strong, and was very clean:).
I would say though if you sell everything together you can get $400 O.B.O. but if you sell items off of the motor you can make much more...
The mounting tabs are the same so yes it will work and you can get the 89 -92 a/c fans to match but the 86.5-88 a/c fan is fine as well. I have seen and had both types of fan shrouds and what do you mean by "I have the plastic fan running off that small belt"?
The OEM bra is nice with the 2 headlight covers but it sucks that you have to remove the bra just to open the hood.
I had sold 2 sets before on ebaymotors and they went for
-$20+ shipping(with no headlight covers, some wear, and about 1 1/2 years ago)
-$37+ shipping(with the headlight...
Here is what I did on my brakes on my 87 Turbo Supra.
- f/r new brake pads
- new Valvoline synpower brake fluid
- Goodridge f/r SS brake lines
- f/r new brake calipers
- f/r drilled slotted rotors(even though OEM rotors will do the job)
- new OEM banjo bolts and washers
and the car...
^ Their is threads on both sides. One threaded side goes into the engine block and the other side has a nut and washer you put on after the head is on. Then torque it down.
Yup get the Goodridge set from CK.
Here is a thread I made a while back when I was looking for SS brakelines.

The OEM rear speakers will put out some pretty good bass. I upgraded them and they sound very very clean and clear. Even the rear view mirror shakes very very little;). Depending on if you want a OEM radio or a aftermarket radio you can try to get a OEM radio from a 94-99 Toyota with a OEM...
Ive done 124 MPH on my old 87 Turbo with a A/T trans and that was with my JDM motor but right when I got off if the highway then it started to spill coolant out of the tank due to a BHG:(.
I 2nd that. I installed some SS Goodridge brake lines and they are pretty nice as well. They are like $113.00 shipped on ebaymotors.
And for rotors some OEM rotors will do the job but those rotors in that link are nice.
I have bought a set of 89 3 peice taillights a few years ago and after I installed them they just did not look good on the car and to me they seem pretty cheap but that is just me. I know they look nice though with the 3 peice spoiler. Here is a quote from someone on Supraforums but like he said...
