Im going to be helicoiling all my studs this week( after I get a trans fluid service) but even though it sounds like a lawn mower I notice it has pretty good power. I also have 3 studs that are bad.
I had a sunroof that leaked before and I know water would run inside the pillar down to where the electrical is on the driverside but I would say let is dry or use a blow dryer(with no heat).
Have you checked that area for water?
Maybe a CF plate that sits on top of the intercooler to cool alittle better. I cant describe it but here is a ebay link.

On the 2 wiring harnesses that come from the Supra( The OEM radio plug's), That may have a extra wire if you might have gotten those 2 peices from a 89+ Supra because they have the mid range speakers vs. the 86-88 Supras without those speakers so you sould be ok if you leave that alone. Then you...
Like suprafanatic said on the oil leak recheck the oil feed screw with the 2 crush washers and make sure that it is torqued to spec. I had that problem when I gotten my 87 Turbo Supra.
Maybe the leak can be the EGR cooler gasket(on the back of the cylinder head). If I were you I would just fix the gasket/s(or where you leak is) and leave the EGR on. I wanted to remove my EGR as well but it lowers the combustion temps and its their for a reason. I heard that If you do remove...
^ Like Jason said it is probably their but you probably would want to get that fixed because that will raise the temp under the hood. I have that same problem in my 87 Turbo and I had that in my old 87 turbo as well. They sell some good metal gaskets on ebay iirc.
With the OEM cable their is 3 peices. Their is 2 long cables and one small metal elbow like a 90 degree peice. I have the 2 long cables from a 87 Turbo supra with a auto trans if interetsed.
EDIT!!
I found the problem. One speaker wire was touching the body and once I removed that then the light stayed off when I pushed the brakes. Thanks again Eeryone.

Nice sig, I think the seats are very very comfortable. Even though I will agree with you when saying they are heavy but other than that everything is good. Even friends and people that ride in my car say that the seats are nice:biglaugh:.
