    Automatic Throttle Body Question

-That is a dash pot for emissions in the pic. I would use it but it wont hurt if it is off. -If you are changing the TPS their is a difference in certian years. The angles of the sensor are different and you may have a different year throttle body with a different year TPS sensor. The 2...

    Engine Shaking w/ low idle

I just fixed my very bad exhaust manifold gasket and turbo exhaust leak but that did not give me a bad engine shaking. I would check for codes, inspect the ISC, inspect the intercooler pipe clamps and make sure their is no cracks, and how are your spark plugs/wires/coil packs(if turbo)?

    What to part out?!

Maybe the a/c and heater core boxes, the interior wiring harness, glass, fenders, trim(if in good shape). You will see some items when you get it down to the shell. I parted out my old 87 last year.

    Heater doesn't want to work

If you by pass the vsv then feel the coolant hoses. If the hoses may have air in them, then they should be cold. I just did a coolant flush and I had air in my system and after 20mins later and giving the motor some gas then I had hot air.

    still have this stuttering problem

^ I had that that problem as well with oil in the plug valley. Make sure you check your valve covers and also their is 3 screws for the oil and coolant and you may want to inspect them. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/TechTips/head_coolant_leak.aspx

    Oil Sensor Problem

If the Machine Shop does not take care of it then maybe you can check out a autopart store(like Napa) and see if they have a tool you can use to remove that. I had a similar problem on the coolant plug threads on a 96 Tahoe.

    Test pipes

You also can get a High flow Cat if you dont want the exhaust to be so restrictive:).

new head gasket job car runs like crap

Code 31 will make your car run bad. Recheck all clamps on the intercooler pipes and make sure you DO NOT use carb cleaner on the AFM electronics.

    Sunroof seal????

I had two sunroof's on both of my 87 Turbos. One was factory the other is aftermarket. I would recheck the drain clamps and the 4 drain tubes to make sure they are clean and free of dirt and leaves.

what are these plugs on block?

I had two of those as well on a 88 Turbo motor but I do not have these on my 89+ JDM motor.

So you are saying that you have a Lexus AFM without the right injectors:(. Are you running the stock injectors?

    idle problems

I dont know why you would put that stuff in the spark plug holes(unless you are doing a compression test and trying to see if you can raise the compression but that is another story) but you will need to clean the top of the pistions with some combustion chamber cleaner to get rid of the carbon...

    F*cking vandals...

Sorry to hear that. Check around to see if people can come to you to fix that windshield. I had a rear window broken on a nissan from someone and someone came to repair that and put in new glass for $135 and used glass would have had been $105 to your door installed but look around.

Turn signals = single circuit ?

Yup, Plug in your hazard switch and you should be good to go. That happen to me when I was changing my radio and I did not put the shroud back on + the hazard switch was not connected so I was like wtf when I went around the block and my turns did not work.

    Post your Pre-89 bumper thread

They are just the cheap ebay lights but I've had them in my old 87 and they been lasting quite some time. They light up very nice at night + I also have the foglights matching the same light blue color as well. They are also 6500K bulbs...
