on my 87 i removed my a/c system...2 weeks later when the weather got hotter i regret doing so
removed everything except for evaporator
on my 91 theres no way ill remove it...and now knowing how to diagnose and repair a/c systems i can do repairs myself :)
23 psi here on stock turbo (yes i know its past effiency range)
maft pro, walbro 255, spearco fmic, 2.5in IC pipes, 3in ex, speed density, afpr, wideband...etc
stock headgasket held up great(unknown if it was retorqued)...in process of replacing headgasket as we speak due to...
as far as lex afm goes...
all you need is the housing
take good electronics from mk3 supra afm and put them in lex afm
i went through 3 afm's in 3 months when i finally bought a new/used unit with 3k miles
hand sand fuel rail
then wet sand with fine grit paper
then thoroughly clean with warm water
buy polishing wheel; install on bench grinder
apply polishing compound to wheel and begin :)
Finished removing cylinder head
Confirmed BHG around #6 cylinder
held up pretty good for having 78k miles, was never retorqued, 23psi for 2 months and overheated
been a while since i last updated
havent had time to do anything to the supra
however last week was a tough week
Moved to a new house on the 12
The next day the dryer went out
Wednesday had a LT box truck tire blow up on me
Thursday my wife was in a head on collision...everybody in wreck walked...
