grab a multimeter and do the work/testing yourself

hand sand fuel rail then wet sand with fine grit paper then thoroughly clean with warm water buy polishing wheel; install on bench grinder apply polishing compound to wheel and begin :)

knock sensor code is a easy fix either you got a bad knock sensor or need to rewire knock sensors

Wouldnt locking the cable down cause the trans to be hotter?
