    You use the torque spec supplied by arp that they include with the little instruction sheet inside the box. IT is not 73 lbs

    That was me that posted about using a faux carbon key and welding the snout years ago. Not real hard to do, but i always wanted the crank out of the motor and would clean the snout up on the crank grinder. One 7m crank I did that to is now at 1200 hp with no problems.

    STD toyota and std aftermarket bearings are two different things. You need to measure everything, and adjust your new crank as needed with aftermarket bearings for proper oil clearance, or order the correct select size bearings from toyota to set the proper oil clearance.

    Boost level has little to do with the capacity of the head gasket. I usually see about 350 rwhp on a stock type hg with arp's and a tune as my personal threshold. Any more than that and I would rather use a metal gasket.

    Dowel does not have to be in the middle hole. There are 3 holes in the cam, and three holes in the gear. All three line up, so whether the pin is in the center, left, right, or 3 pins in all three holes at the same time, it will not matter.

    Yes, you guys don't want to shift manual. You will bounce the rev limiter every time. My converter stalls at 3000.

    Not sure, maybe 18 to 20 psi, but it would fall off fast in the upper rpms. prob fell to 12 -13 at 5500rpm. I had the wastegate shimmed up to prevent the loss, but I just assume the turbo runs out of breath. I looked up my numbers again and it was 12.61
