did i search but since EGR and VSV arnt 4 letters it would complete the search. when i turn the ignition on the vsv valve clicks constantly. anyone know why it might be doing this?

im pretty sure i have everything i need for now to get it running. im gonna give it another whack tomorrow and we'll see what happens. on a side note, theres a MINT 89-92 black/burgundy n/a auto targa for $2500 like a mile up the street from my house.

engine is in, and mostly hooked up. still need to do the IC piping, oil cooler, radiator, exhaust, and driveshaft. hoping for paint next weekend pending weather.

well i still cant get this bitch running. ripped the engine chassis wiring out of the 87 and 89, one of the plugs going into the fuse block under the kick panel are different. so i cant even swap these.... theres no plug on my 89 for the turbo assly pressure sensor, so how can a 7mgte be a...

how much does this usually end up costing for a day? admission, food, drink, gas, etc. Also, are there usually a few beginners? if i was drifting i wouldnt wanna look too bad lol.

i wouldnt just sand and paint rust without treating it with a rust inhibitor beforehand. like sawbladz says, rust is a cancer and it spreads like so. use something like this to strip all the paint and rust from the area then seal w/ primer, then paint.

so since you capped off the coolant line on the TB where does the line that comes from the ISC valve go?

Yea im not too worried about emissions, its a fresh motor and if i fail i can replace the cat as soon as a week. im using the factory exhaust off the black 87 BTW.

damn that sucks.... my 87 has TEMS too but if its that much work im way too lazy to do that.

oohh looks nicer everytime i see it. BTW that hard line has a hose that goes on one of the nipples on the power steering pump. the one closer to the block if i remember correctly. that might help.
