well i believe i found my problem and i kick myself in the ass. finally did a compression test on all 6 cylinders, keep in mind this engine was never run after the rebuild only cranked. #1 90 #2 75 #3 80 #4 90 #5 140 #6 140 only thing i can think of is that the machinist...

ill go check compressions on all 6 cylinders right now... also i forgot to mention that when i turn the key on the boost gauge goes all the way up and stays there till i turn the key off. i dont have the turbo press. sensor hooked up.

just a FYI, but the code 11 went away. not sure why. also not sure if i mentioned this before but theres what sounds like a hissing noise coming from around the FPR on the fuel rail. if its getting fuel but not the right amount this could cause it to not start... right? also everytime it...

so if it wasnt compatible (late 89+) it wouldnt even be possible to hook up the pre 89 ecu and engine harness?

if you had an early 89 the wiring would match the pre 89 harness better.

delorans are stainless steel, well the body panels at least. you can paint a car rolling on rustoleum paint and make it look good. its all the time and effort that makes a paint job what it is.

ran neck and neck w/ a Bentley Continental GT from 80-140 not really a win but.... worst loss was to a late 80's 3 series BMW with a fart can... my IC hose popped off resulting in complete and all loss of boost, took like 6 seconds to go from 60-80mph....

code 11 now... all i've done is clean plugs again and try starting it. checked codes just for fun and i got a code 11. ill try redoing my grounds.

yea i know, i've noticed the timing light is still intermittent sometimes. and the coil and wires i swapped w/, i cant confirm if they are good. im thinkin about goin to toyota tomorrow to order a set of spark plug wires. unless of course anyone else can think of something that might be making...
