Miata ones might fit, but theyre much too small for the car I'd think. Miatas come with two, and you could put one on either side of the water pump pulley theoretically, but again, I'm not sure if they would flow enough air
What..? Do you know what they mean by reversible? You couldve used the single outlet that you have as the inlet instead, then have the two on the other side be the outlet. I dont know what you're trying to say about a 2.5" and 3" out...it would be a 3" in and two 2.5" out with the muffler you...
Actually, yes still haha. Is this the muffler you used? Still says its reversible in the notes. Also, here's an example right on their website that it's reversible. Hope that helps :)
That genuinely looks beautiful man.
Dont mean to piss in your cheerios, but you know Magnaflow mufflers arent directional, right? There isnt a certain way they have to flow, so you couldve had the single in twin out on the same side
No kidding? That's quite drastic! How did you come up with that, and where specifically would the battery be in the back to get to that conclusion? Some people put it in the spare wheel well, some put it in the far back corner by the right side taillight...I believe that's where the car phone...
You want custom and unique? Here's my turbo:
After scouring the internet for years and only being told from the previous owner that it is a "TO4E" and "highly desirable", I have found that this turbo was the best aftermarket one there was...in the 70s and 80s, and probably earlier too, as...
Battery in the back has lots of advantages. It stays much cooler, prolonging the life of the battery, cleaner engine bay, more room, better weight distribution....
There's a reason or two why BMW does it on all of their cars. My Miata came from the factory with it in back. OEMs wouldnt do it if...
IIRC from the Bitog forums, Royal Purple oils among others tends to have more than plenty ZDDP in them, and even after 5k-8k miles it still has plenty. Going to look for the Blackstone analysis..
Well here's a guy with a Mini that did a 25k mi oil change interval
Why it sure can! Check the date of my original thread haha. At least you're doing it correctly, I really think you've made excellent choices with parts. I'm debating getting a new engine harness myself. I'm really not looking forward to the obnoxious stuff like bushings, wheel bearings...I do...
HKS exhaust is a catback and will (should) fit any thing behind either the cat or the test pipe, depending on what route you go. The catback is for the chassis, not for the engine, it doesnt care what engine you use :p
I dont care for that style myself, but I'm not going to hate on it for being different. As far as wing functionality, keep in mind the bigger and gaudier it is, the better it works at lower speeds. STi rally car anyone?
Because I'm 100% serious this time about getting my Supra back on the road as a daily driver, I decided to just start over with a new thread. I really really wanted to do this earlier, but because of college and all sorts of multiple family medical emergencies on top of not having a job, it was...
Yes, bought these off of a friend with an R33 GT-R who went to a single throttle setup. If I'm going to need a custom intake for a front facing setup anyways, why not get the most out of it? Plus they arent super expensive like most ITB setups are
You should be able to look around locally and find a reputable shop. Do you have more local forums? Are there people locally for you, not necessarily MkIII guys that you could ask?
