I kinda like it myself, though it's a bit too subtle for me when you couldve jumped on a factory pre89. Looks terrific from the side and probably the front though!
What I'm antsy to try is the 2011+ Mustang GT California Special pedestal spoiler:
I think they need to put up more pictures of their products on cars that arent black haha. It's always tough to see how it really looks. I'm also wondering if they have permission for some of those, as I believe that last picture is Mike Urbano's car from way back when, and he sadly passed away.
It's more than likely that turbo was run without a filter for a while (or at least long enough to suck birds and small children in), then they got the filter later
Owners manual should call for Dex II, same as the power steering. Dex III is newer stuff, but then they jumped to the latest and greatest Dex VI. Dex 6 is officially supposed to be backwards compatible, and I will say they spent lots of time and money engineering it. I wouldnt stray outside of...
You might want to consider sending it off to be professionally rebuilt, as it should really be rebalanced as well. There's a place in Florida owned and run by a MkIV guy, but you should be able to find someone closer to you. I'd love to give it a shot myself personally for the experience, but...
Boost cut is the max you really want to run on CT-12a's anyways. Unless you have an incredibly good Y pipe setup, your EGTs will kill the ceramic turbine wheel
Thanks for posting that. Someone might have the same problem in the future, search, and find this thread. Nothing is quite as frustrating as searching and finding 5 threads of other people with the same problem, and a combination of no follow-up, no answer, and/or someone telling them to search
I love GoPros, but they also have really tinny audio. I dont think you can really get a good idea of what it sounds like without a fancy audio setup. I'm strongly considering taking a ride with my USB condenser mic, but it would pick up EVERYthing..
Ohhh I thought he mightve been hinting at that. No you're right, the F-body mufflers arent designed to be reversible, I didnt realize that's what it was. Still, you made the most of it and again, beautifully executed. I agree it is very quiet, you can barely hear it in the video. I like the 3.5...
This guy knows whats up. It looks like it's cheap and can be replicated inexpensively, but the SP QSV is designed to handle all sorts of use and abuse, and it gives you incredible results. At first, I was reluctant, but tekdeus had one on his car and it has been gaining popularity. I'm sold on...
88s still had that badge on the firewall, in 89 Toyota moved it to the door sill (I believe on all of their cars, not just Supras)
Also, 10th digit of the VIN will tell you the year. IIRC J is 88, K is 89. I dont know if pre89s had cupholders. According to Jeff Lange, 86-89 still had the 6M...
