It might not be what you want to hear, but I also say you should strongly consider parking it again and finding another Supra to use. Every once in a while, a pristine car like this will show up, but eventually there wont be any more. Up to you, and if you want to drive it anyways, youre well on...
I think a heat shield would be much less expensive and give you the results you're looking for. With runners that short, you'll loose what little lower end power you might have
Turbos have come quite a long ways since the CT26, so if you have the chance to upgrade, I strongly recommend it. I think most people nowadays go the DriftMotion turbo upgrade route anyways.
That's a pretty sweet trade for the AEM I'd say. Keep friends like that close. I've helped out my...
If youre that certain youre going to go JZ or UZ later, you might want to reconsider spending too much on the 7M right now. I personally was dead set on getting a 1J until I bought my 7M and havent looked back since. When you order a set of aftermarket pistons, they usually come with the rings...
Pretty much everyone seems to go with the Clevites, regardless. I dont know where you read that theyre discontinued, but I doubt that's true. Dont buy rings and such until your engine has been to the machine shop and you know exactly what it will need. I recommend draining and flushing your...
'48 or '46? ;)
Actually doesnt Chevy still supply a good set of parts still for 50-60 years old? Or is it just random NOS leftover parts, and stuff for the 350 that they made for 50+ years anyways?
The weirdest stuff is available when other things you'd expect to be available are discontinued...
Already have a UEGO for my car, still saving for an EMS v2, so the more others get on it and share their experiences, the better.

I'm waiting until I start getting some detailing done on it before I reveal too much. I'm not exactly sure how I should do this even..how much do I...
I've had that happen to me over the years plenty of times...my MkIII will be driveable, but once it's supposed to start in boost, it leaks out the BOV and is completely N/A. For 6 years now lol
On the plus side...
Therein lies the fun of keeping an older car on the road...there's always a chance that the parts will stop being made, and there's a scramble just to have things "just in case" or risk an expensive custom setup.
I can only assume that Borg doesnt include it on their AirWerks turbos because they might keep more of the oil in the CHRA to absorb the heat the best it can while keeping costs down. Tons of people have had great success with it, so the questions remain of "are they really that good?" (yes...
Ford Motorcraft oil is very inexpensive and still good. Also, the 7M CPS cover is something like $15-20 I believe. It's rare, but there are a surprising amount of times that the price is more than reasonable
Single turbos are much lighter, cleaner, easier to work with, and you can always opt for a quick spool valve. With the price of upgrading the twins, fairly often you can get an entire single turbo setup
And therein lies the fun of trying to find the right exhaust. I'm completely with you on that and still figuring out what I want. You might consider an old school HKS
