Keep in mind also that our O2 sensors are a very old design, and since we dont have OBD2, theyre comparatively crude and rudimentary. As mentioned, they have little influence on how the car runs on the whole, but having a good one should boost your mpgs a bit and not have it run quite so rich.

Thanks for the review, glad to hear how it worked out. I think the ebay ones are essentially just a generic exhaust that hadnt been test fitted but is mass produced. If you dont might the headaches of not getting an exhaust that fits and having to redo it, it's certainly an option!

That's really best for the turbo. I'm fortunate that mine stripped out at just the right spot. There's a few places out there that make knockoff/replacement parts that dont suck for the Type S too (the diaphragm and housing).

I agree that youre much better off just making your own setup. There arent really kits out there, and the factory setup on the 1JZ cars wasnt exactly "impressive" anyways. It's inexpensive and more beneficial to just find out what works and having fun with it

Adjustable ones arent bad, depending on what kind you get. The Type S ones love to strip the housing and will end up stuck at whatever setting they were at, but you dont see too many of them anymore.
