You should have a badge in the door sill that has the VIN and all sorts of codes on it such as trim, transmission, etc. You should recognize most of the letters and numbers in that section (W58, G code for the diff, etc.) and I believe the first one is the "trim" or paint code (C/TR on 89s)...
Just realized I dont really have pics of my car up. I'll add them to the first post.
I dont go to UCF anymore. I had to move back home for family health reasons. I'm actually still in school, but very far behind and not in a hurry to finish or catch up. I'd love to go back and attend again, but...
I havent looked into it too much since it came out, but the Hino diesel in it is an 8.0 I6 I believe. "Underpowered" compared to what the Big 3 pump out, but I cant imagine it would take much for Toyota to catch up if they really wanted to
One of them is a *little* bit lighter than the other though :p Besides, how else are you going to? While surprisingly roomy, there's not much room in the trunk. Perhaps if mine was empty I could.
I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do...if I want to use both as oil coolers (overkill), save one...
Just got home with a few parts. What have we here? Is that a R154 built with the SupraStore rebuild kit? Why, yes it is! What else was in that cute Miata of yours, Lonnie?
Most of our oil cooler and filter relocation kit for my own car. 99% sure the 2JZ kit will work on the 7M, just need to...

Do you mean the one-off Tundra dually with the Hino diesel? Toyota has a 4.5 TTD V8 now to replace the 4.2 1HD-FTE, but I dont think they'd do a Tundra diesel with less than 5 liters of displacement in the US.
Do you have bigger pictures of this? I cant tell if those are E32 BMW "lip ducts", and if thats a good or bad thing. I found some to use on my own car, hopefully will come out better than that..
Yes, it's like the Australian RB26 in a way (if they didnt already get the RB30) in that it has been in production for quite a while http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Falcon_(Australia)
Who knows, maybe enough OEM Mitsu parts are really that bad. I personally doubt it, and I feel it will eventually bite them in the ass when OEM parts could end up being available more for the MkIII than the Evo since nobody buys them. I'm always happy and surprised to see just what is still made...
If you ever want or need to know more about oil, I recommend checking the oil/lubrication forum or even better, the BITOG forums. Tons of people there agree that Rotella T5 is a terrific choice
The Miata guys (specifically MiataTurbo forums) swear by MegaSquirt, and sometimes it's hard to justify anything else. MS3 can also control VVT now.
I agree that you should talk with your respected tuner first and foremost. If he has been doing it for a while, he'll have an opinion of the...
I think it depends on the part just as much as the mindset of the owner. For some people, OEM means its an overpriced 'piece of crap' that should be replaced just for the sake of changing something, and in many cases this can absolutely be proven true. However, not always; for instance, how many...
What they dont tell you is that many dealers (smaller ones especially) actually use a local trusted 'locksmithery' and dont necessarily have anything 'in house' they can use. I'd say either would work fine though
