my car was also hard to start when it was warm. it turned out to be the spark plug wires believe it or not...
but people suggested to me that perhaps the fuel in my fuel lines was vaporizing from the heat and creating air in the fuel lines and making it hard to start until it cooled down...
yeah 222hp stock at the crank. only mods are intake and exhaust. the car weighed in at 2700lbs with a full tank of gas. im guesstimating a low 14 sec 1/4 in the low 90mph range. the close ratio 6spd really helps! chirps third everytime!
yeah it is! well actually was. lol. its not getting fuel for some reason. feels slow and has no high rpm power. i cant get it over 5k rpms in 4th (6spd) and it wont go over 90mph haha.
gonna see if its throwing some codes tomorrow. blah
So yeah... i still have the supra... but i dont know how much longer haha! this thing is so much more fun! lol (dont shoot me for saying that)
so far its been tons of fun:) i got 23mpg my last tank which isnt bad at all! considering how the car was driven:rolleyes:
oh... and the...
yeah that worked. its dumb because there is no place to connect a ground wire to it but i will rig something up....
and i wish i had time to do it right but i dont. once i get me new car i will.
so run a ground wire off of the red housing?
i thought i would need something like that but no one said anythign about it when giving me directions for wiring this... lol.
i only submerged it enough to get the thermocouple wet, not the rest of the sensor. and all my other wires are secure, the guage turns on with the key and does its little full range of motion thing when it first turns on with no problems.
maybe i hooked the wire up wrong? it just just smashed...
so i figured before i chopped up my hose that i would check to make sure the sender worked.
i heated up some water and dropped the sensor in. i have the green wire wired right to the top of the sensor. the water was hot hot and nothing registered ont eh guage. i left it in a for a few minutes...
i need to run one small wire from inside my car to the engine bay and i was wondering if there is anyway to do it without pulling the entire dashboard off? thanks
really i just need to see if my temp is getting to hot or if it is spiking. will i still be able to see this if i use the fitting for the upper radiator hose?
yeah it is a prosport guage and yes there is a white wire. i thought the white was my 12v power?
how innacurate will it be if i just run the temp sensor in the middle of the upper rad hose? because i wanted to get this thign goign tonight and i dont have tiem to send away for parts before the...
i bought this guage used and the guy said it has everything i need to install it, i jsut need some wiring..... anyhow. i dont have any directions for it so i dont knwo how to install it.
