yeah so i havnt had much time lately, but im gonna try to tackle this today.
a closer investigation revealed the source to be coming from my fuel rail.... but when i first jump the fuel pump it sounds like it is coming from above, but then a few seconds later it sounds like the leak moves to...
ok so i dont have an sst (maybe i do if i knew what that is:3d_frown:) but anyhow, i got a fire extinguisher and starter her up for a few seconds. i snapped some pics when i shut it off.
it hadnt ran for 48hours so all these parts were dry before i started the car. the car ran for about 5...
haha thanks guys. it is late so i will try this stuff tomorrow and let you know what is up. i dont think i left anything unhooked after the swap though, because it slowly started happening. right after the swap it was fine.
i just got my car back from a swap this week.(just a lower mileage jdm 7mgte) and when i first got it it ran great. the more i drove it the harder it was to start and i noticed i could smell fuel. heres what it does:
when the motor is cold it is hard to start. it turns over quite a few times...
i remember reading about it somewhere on here but i searched for awhile and i coudlnt find the thread.... my tranny always had problems shifting 1st into 2nd and all the other gears were a little tough when the tranny was cold. once it got warm it was fine. I pretty sure i saw a thread where...
