Is there an easy way to get wires through the firewall?

i need to run one small wire from inside my car to the engine bay and i was wondering if there is anyway to do it without pulling the entire dashboard off? thanks

Find an existing hole or harness that is going through, like the big rubber boot on the passenger side that runs your engine harness, then just unwind a clothes hanger and push the wire through with that. Or if your can find room through the steering column hole, if your automatic, theres a little rubber gromet where your clutch master cylinder would normally be and you can run a wire from there just by getting under your dash by the pedals.

At most the only thing you may have to take out is your glove box.

^what he said, the engine harness hole. Just pull out the glove box and look where the engine harness runs through the firewall and feed it through there.

I usually use primary wire (like, to wire a house) as my "needle" to pull the wires though....

...and you can also run through where the throttle cable is, if it's on that side of the engine bay.
