    OEM replacement struts, they're a teeny bit stiffer than stock but have a nice ride quality for the price. they're made by KYB. you can find them basically anywhere. theres plenty of vendors on the forum, im sure one of them has something to fit your needs.

    i've also heard of the turbo pressurizing the crankcase sending oil out the pcv system, and even dripping on the exhaust mani causing an engine fire. (happened to someone on here)

    X2, the car doesnt come out sideways on its own. i feel you pain tho, i have a parts car i can pick some stuff off for you, axle, hub, control arms, etc. not sure what condition the ball joints/bushings are in, but if you're intrested PM me and we can work sumthin out.

    since he obviously didnt read that u have no money for coilovers i'd say junk the stock springs, heat like that can compromise a metals strength, and you DONT want to risk that in your suspension (or anywhere really) invest in a set of used lowering springs and a set of struts of your choice. i...

    i checked them against the digi calipers, and a set of Mitutuyo mics and they are accurate. they're acutally pretty easy to get an accurate reading out of, and not finicky like some other mics i've used. im not expert by any means but i have a few years machining exp.
