I think AEM is still working on Flex Fuel Sensor compatibility with the V2, and already has it with the Infinity. Theyve announced support for the V2 box, but thats all I know. The GM sensor seems to be the most common aftermarket route
Havent installed them yet to check. Caliper says theyre right about 2" tall. My plan was originally 245/45/17 or 245/50/16 front, something like that. I'd say a 40 or 45 sidewall would be better for straight line traction. All depends on what your goals are
I used 225s on my 16x6.5 Miata wheels, and in fact still am...8.75 is too wide for them. I personally prefer taller sidewalls as well, but I cant talk since I just bought a set of 255 and 265/35/18s myself.
There's a saying somewhere about how "the appeal of doing something quickly, cheaply, or cutting corners, is all lost long afterwards" or something to that effect. Do it once, do it right. It's always worth it
Here's my post from my build thread: For the cost of a new set (of tires), I got a lightly used set already mounted on these RPF1s! Didnt think the pics would upload this big...might need to fix that..
These have roughly 1 month of driving on them. I got them from a local guy who is...
Happy birthday to me! I got some wheels for a steal. Wasnt planning on getting any, but the Supra desperately needs new tires. For the cost of a new set, I got a lightly used set already mounted on these RPF1s! Didnt think the pics would upload this big...might need to fix that..
These...
Well one of the things I care very little about is wheel fitment etc., but tomorrow I'm getting a set of RPF1s in 18x9.5 +45 and 18x10 +38, 255/35 and 265/35. Helpin' him out so he has money for his wedding. Anyways, I guess I'll see how well they fit
Same as everyone else...the housing gets stripped when you look at it wrong. Also, the diaphragm is mediocre at best; not to mention $100+ and discontinued
BEAUTIFUL work. The welds look amazing, and your SolidWorks modelling makes me jealous!
There's a guy named Jonah (cant remember his screen name) who's doing a 4.8 LSx buildup on his Mk3; he's pretty far along so far, so you might want to check with him.
As for the T56, the gearing is almost...
Ooo very nice. Definitely keep us up to date on how it works. I've been seeing and selling lots of Spec clutches lately, and really considering the super twin package.
Theyre supposed to include the bearings though, so that's in there too right?
Holy crap! The overnight parts from Japan thing was supposed to be a joke, but sure enough, I had a big package arrive today!
Nobody that was guessing correctly guessed the contents. The correct answer was "RB26 intake assembly." This will make things MUCH easier by the looks of it...
